Bhopal Development Authority [BDA] was established in 1976 under the Bhopal Development Authority Act, 1974 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It was set up to plan and coordinate the development activities in Madhya Pradesh comprising of Bhopal and its surrounding areas. It conceives, promotes, and monitors the key projects to develop new growth centers and bring about improvements in sectors like transport, housing, water supply, and environment. With the continued support of its patrons, BDA strives to usher into a new era of development to cater to the needs of the city.
