Structure and Wall Plastering The structure is an R.C.C. framed structure that has been approved by a Structural Engineer. It includes 9" external brick walls and 4½" internal brick walls. Cement plastering is used in the ceiling and inner walls with a smooth finish. External walls have a rough finish. Flooring and Painting Hall and rooms have vitrified tiles. Toilets have anti-skid tiles and glazed wall tiles up to 7 feet. Interior walls are painted with two coats of putty, primer, and two coats of emulsion. Exterior walls are painted with weather-proof emulsion. Doors and Windows The main door consists of Teak wood frames and panels with a French polish finish. Other doors have Padak frames, waterproof flush doors with enamel paint, and PVC doors in the toilets. Windows have wood frames with glass and M.S. grills with enamel paint. Kitchen and Water Supply The kitchen has a granite slab counter top and ceramic wall tiles up to 2'0" above the counter. It includes an S.S. sink and separate taps for drinking and bore water. There are two separate water tanks for groundwater and metro water. An underground sump is provided for metro water. Plumbing and Electrical The project uses Indian or European Water Closets, PVC flush tanks, and CP fittings. It has a three-phase power supply, a MCB type distribution board, concealed wiring, and modular switches. An A/C point (15 amps) is provided in all bedrooms.
