Why no bigha?
Bigha (and biswa, katha, marla) has no single legal size — it ranges from roughly 1,500 to over 27,000 sq ft depending on the state and even the district. A commonly used West Bengal bigha (~14,400 sq ft) is about 1.65 times a common Himachal measure (~8,712 sq ft), and Rajasthan uses more than one convention. Any converter that gives you one number for “bigha” is guessing. For land deals, get the size in sq yd or sq m from the sale deed or the patwari records, then convert here.
